Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.” —Groucho Marx

Four Blood Moons--Something is About to Change, by John Hagee--A review

Have you ever reached  a place where you just couldn't pick up another book and read it?    Even when you want to read some of your favorite authors and you just can't?    Well, toward the end of May I hit that that spot.

I had agreed to read several books by some of my very favorite authors....not read in May.    None read in June.    I started one book and finished it on July 1st.  That said let me expound a wee bit.

I have been widowed now for a year and a half now.   At first I thought I would never cease grieving; I cried at the drop of a pin.
Then I was reminded in the spirit that my husband was Gods....simply on loan to me for a time.   I became very thankful for the thirty five years he was  mine.  We had had quite an adventure together and I had not kept God front and center.   My grieving has ended and God is front and center where he belongs.   Thank God for His tender mercies.

Everyone who belongs to God, recognizes that wee small voice when God speaks to them and since before the end of May, I have been listening...quite carefully.    And I listened when my friend from work asked if I had read Four Blood Moons.    No, but I had purchased a copy and I picked it up once we ended our lunch.    And I read and my heart reacted to the writing of John Hagee.   I felt confirmation in the spirit that what I was reading and what I had been taught in my church were leading me closer to  God's future for me.

This morning I feel good.   And now I will review the book.

SYNOPSIS:

Inspired by NASA projections and recorded history, Pastor John Hagee shows direct connections between four blood-moon eclipses and major

world events. Further, he reveals the significance of the four upcoming blood

moons and what they portend for Israel and all of humankind.

FROM MY MIND'S EYE:

This book stirred the heart of this believer.    I look at it as a wake up call for anyone who believes Jesus Christ will rapture his bride.    It is full of biblical prophecy an historical fulfillment of promise for God's chosen people.  I am thankful for those watchdogs that remind  us of God's plans for our future and just how close we are to meeting him face to face.

Very well researched and written.    Thank you John Hagee!

I rated this a 5 Wink read!

Disclaimer:  I read for my pleasure.   I may receive ARC copies for review purposes, but I am not compensated for my reviews .  I like to read and I like to share my reviews.   I post my thoughts without prejudice or bias.  The words are mine and I write reviews based on my humble opinion.  I will admit, I seldom meet a book I don't like.  I purchased a copy of this book for my personal Christian library.
