The Christmas Star by Diane Darcy==A REVIEW

SYNOPSIS:

Tis the Season

When an old woman makes a wish upon a Christmas star, miracles start to happen. A manipulative angel and a zany Christmas season are exactly what it takes to get Jason and Elise in the same vicinity again. But can they forgive each other and forget old resentments and hurts? Well, Christmas is a perfect time for miracles. Throw in the hunt for the perfect tree, a sledding competition and a desperate-for-grandchildren mother, and you have the perfect recipe for...love?

From My Merry Perspective:

The Christmas Star is a short (97 pages), read.   It is a story about forgiveness and love.   Told against a Christmas setting. Elise's mom, Marilyn made a wish upon a star.    As any mom can tell you, if the family is battling within itself, the whole household is disrupted.    Elise and her father had been at odds for over five years and in Marilyn's mind it was time to bury the hatchett.   So Marilyn made her wish for peace between father and daughter.
With forgiveness comes peace and in this romantic Christmas read Elise will be rewarded beyond her wildest dreams.  Quite a
heartwarming read.

I rated this a 5 wink read.

Disclaimer:  I read for my pleasure.   I may receive ARC copies for review purposes, but I am not compensated for my reviews .  I like to read and I like to share my reviews.   I post my thoughts without prejudice or bias.  The words are mine and I write reviews based on my humble opinion.  I will admit, I seldom meet a book I don't like. I purchased my own kindle copy.
